Lekhanth, 22 May- The Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry gave relief money to the late Basanta Neupane family of Pokhara 27 from the relief fund set up by the Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry to help its members in the issues of their rights and interests. Basantha Neupane’s family has been provided post-mortem relief.
A delegation of Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday had hand overed Rs 50,000 to the Neupane Family who passed away at the age of 70 on Baisakh 30. The LCCI has been providing Rs. 50,000 in case of death of its member and Rs. 5,000 in case of death of a close relative of a business member keeping in mind the unimaginable incidents that happen from time to time for the rights and interests of the business members.
A team led by Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Balram Dhakal, former president and central member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Baburam Giri, former president Laxmi Prasad Tripathi, senior vice president Chhatradhar Atreya, general secretary Gopichandra Bastola and treasurer Januka Parajuli visited Neupane’s house. He handed over a check to his daughter Nirmala Tiwari. Earlier, the association had provided assistance to the families of five members who lost their lives in the tragic incident.
