Lekhnath, 25 May- Plastic tunnels have been distributed to the farmers of Pokhara Metropolitan City of ward no 28 out of the budget of Rs. 4 Lakh appropriated by the ward office for the fiscal year 2077/78.
Plastic tunnels have been distributed to the representative productive farmers of area in Ward No. 28 following the health safety standards. At the cost of 50 percent of the ward office and 50 percent of the cost of the farmers, 50 plastic tunnels have been distributed to the farmers of Ward No. 28 and and 14 tunnels have been distributed free of cost to the economically deprived farmers who have lost their foreign employment due to Covid 19.
Altogether 64 tunnels have been distributed in the presence of Ward Chairperson Nirmal Dayali, Ward Member Ambika Budathoki, Ward Member Bishnu Prasad Tiwari and Chairman of Agricultureal Network Indra Prasad Gautam were present on the occasion, informed by the ward office computer operator Sabin Bhujel.
